    Their holidays are: 3 days for thanksgiving, 2 weeks in October, 2 weeks in December, 1 week in March and 1 week in April. They finish school at 18 June.

    They have exam just for high school. BAC = SAT/ACT.

    We think American school is better because schooldays are shorter. What about you?

    3500 people live in Andover, her home town.

     In Andover High School, there are 1800 students.

    Some school Subjects of Andover Hight School are four hours of English, Science and History, 3 hours of Maths. They choose two languages during High School: French, Spanish, German, Chinese and the last year they can choose. There are music, gym and P.E.too

    Schools days begin at 8 am to 2 pm. From Monday to Friday.

    The two highest towers of Boston:

    The Prudential Center and The John Hancock tower.

     We can visit The Prudential Center because there is an elevator, a guided tour with headset and a lot of glass to enjoy the view.

    Fun facts about Massachusetts:

    The nickname of Massachusetts is the “Bay State”.

    The Boston terrier is the state dog. The Boston Terrier looks like a French Bull Dog and their colours are Black and White.

    The Mayflower is the flower of Massachusetts. The colour of this flower is pink or white. The Mayflower is the name of the first immigrants’ ship arriving in Massachusetts in 1620.

    Massachusetts has got a state fish: the cod. The cods swim between two islands: Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

    Massachusetts’ beverage is Cranberry juice. They flood the fields so the cranberries float above the water and they harvest the Cranberries that way.

    Massachusetts dessert is the Boston Cream Pie.

    Where she went to school: Maine

    Liz  studied in Maine. It was 3 hours from her house.

    The nickname of Maine is “vacation land”.

     Lobster fishing is very important in Maine. The big males and females with eggs are released in the water to preserve the resources.

    In the 1800s people thought lobsters were not good for the health and they gave them to the slaves.

    The specialities of Maine are Apple cider, Apple cider Donuts, Apple crisps, Apple Pie, Caramel Apple.

    The activity of autumn is Apple Picking.

    Colby College:

    There are 850 students. In the dorms we can choose different options: alone, two in a bedroom or a suite for 4 to 5 students.

    There are many students coming from all over the world.

    The hill in front of Lorimar Chapel is a popular destination for sledding in winter.

  • My name is Camille. I’m 12. I was born on may 23rd.I live in Vendat, in front of the post office. My eyes are brown and I have long straight blond hair. I am tall for my age. I am 1m57 tall. I am concentrated but sometimes clumsy. I try to be generous and good- tempered.

    I like chips and I love my dad’s apple purée.

  • Hi everybody!  My name is Nelly but you can call me Nell' ! I'm thirteen years old, I was born on the 5th of November 2000. I live in Vichy (Auvergne). I'm not very tall, I'm 1m57 tall. I have brown-green eyes, long straight brown hair, I've got glasses.

    I've got one sister, her name is Natacha; she's 15 years old, she was born on the 7th of April 1998. my father is a chartered accountant and my mother is a housewife.

    I'm at Jules Ferry School in Vichy, I love French, Physical Education, CSA and English but I hate math.

    I practise rock-climbing and I play the drums :)

    My favourite actress is Kristen Stewart, I love her, I really admire her; she is my model, she's fabulous ! My favourite movies are Snow White And The Huntsman, The Twilight Saga, Welcome to the Riley's, Catch tha kid, Zathura, Pirates of the Caibbean and Oz the great and powerful.
