    1) Visit TRIP TO ITALY : Pompeii (by Léa)

On Wednesday April 9th, we visited Pompeii. Pompeii is situated next to Naples in Italy. Pompeii was buried in 79 AD by the ash of the Vesuvius during an eruption.

We visited the amphitheatre (built in 80 before Christ, it could host 12,000 at 20,000 spectators), the thermopolium (it's a fast-food from Roman antiquity), the “fullonica of Stephanus” (it's a brewery). Then we visited the Stabiae therms , a bakery (where the archaeologists found a charred bread), the  gladiators' barracks, the theatre (it could host 5,000 spectators). Then we saw, the forum (it was the economic, political, judicial and religious centre of the city), the “castellum aquae” (built at the highest point of the city). Then we went into the house of the Vetii (it’s a domus, a luxurious residence), the Faune’s house (built in the 2nd century BC), and finally the house of the Tragic Poet and the “lupanar” (it was an establishment where there were prostitutes).

    2) Personal Impression about the visit TRIP TO ITALY : Pompeii (by Léa)

I adored being in Pompeii. I can’t manage to believe, that many centuries ago, there were people who lived down there. Around the pedestrian passage, we could see the chariots tracks, it's extraordinary!

     3) Personal impression about the trip

This trip is the best of my life. It was so perfect. I adored the activities even if I have detested the Solfatara because there was such a very bad smell! I will never forget this trip, it’s impossible! Italy is really so pretty… TRIP TO ITALY : Pompeii (by Léa)
