    Here is their report:

    Voici leur reportage :

We met Christina Schilling who is Canadian: She was very happy to see us, she smiled all the time. She has wavy hair and brown eyes. She is nice, helpful, a good listener, open-minded and funny. She took many photos during her visit. She is a FSL teacher and lives in the countryside.

We chatted and asked her some questions :

Ewan: What is the temperature in Canada at the moment?

Christina: It’s snowing and it’s cold. I live in the countryside and there is snow up to the knee. It is about minus 10°C.

Léa : How do the pupils have lunch in your school ?

Christina: They take their lunch box with them.

Clara: What time do they start and finish school?

Christina: They start at 9 and finish at 3:30

Jeanne: Do Canadian pupils learn other languages at school than French and English?

Christina: Not in Middle School but in High School they can choose another language.

She also asked us some questions:

Elle nous a aussi posé des questions :

Christina: What languages can you choose to learn in your school?

Roméo : English is compulsory and we can choose between Spanish, German and Chinese as a second foreign language.

Christina: What is your first thought when you hear “Canada”?

    Ewan : Maple syrup

    Jeanne : A different accent

Christina gave us presents: maple syrup, a pen with her school logo and candies. We thanked her and she gave us some tips to learn English : watch movies or series in English with French subtitles, read books in English, listen to English songs…

We had a very good afternoon with a delicious "café gourmand" and we were very happy to show our school and meet her.
