The country we chose is St. Lucia. It Became a member of the Commonwealth of Nations in 1789. Saint Lucia is in America, on the Oriental board of the Caribbean Sea. It is also part of the Windward Islands whose capital is Castries.They are about 170 000 inhabitants and an area of 620 KM2.

The island has a tropical climate with two seasons. A dry season (January to April) and a rainy season (May to December).

The official language is English and 80% of the population speaks Creole Caribbean.

The main tourist places are the Botanical Gardens, the capital, the sulfur springs park, the two pitons, pigeon island, park latisab Creole background.

We chose this country because we would like to discover it, and because we love beaches. We also think this island is not well known.
