It became a member of the Commonwealth of Nations in 1931.

New Zealand is an island about 2000 km south east of Australia.

The capital of New Zealand is Wellington. There are about 3.547.983 people in New Zealand.

January and February are the hot months, and July is the coldest  month of the year. In summer, the average maximum temperature ranges between 70-90°F (20-30ºC) and in winter between 50-60°F (10-15ºC). The official languages are English and Maori. We can visit Rotorua, it’s the heart of New Zealand’s geothermal activity and we can visit Wellington because it’s the capital of arts and culture.

We chose New Zealand because we think this country is interesting. We would really like to visit New Zealand and the capital of this country. We are interested in landscapes. We think it is a very beautiful country. We don’t know it very well but we want to know more. We wanted to show its beauty.
